The Wolfe Automotive Group owns not only an Acura dealership in Kansas City and Springfield, but also Chevrolet, Saturn, Honda, Nissan, and Toyota franchises. In combination, these rank the Wolfe Automotive Group among the fifty largest dealer groups in America according to such authoritative publications as Automotive News and Ward’s Dealer Business.

Our history began in 1954, when our late founder, Jay Wolfe, opened four used car lots . In the ‘60s, Jay established a Nash – Rambler dealership as well as a recreational vehicle and motor home facility. By 1971, a Pontiac –GMC unit in Kansas City, Kans

as began operations under the Jay Wolfe name. From there, other nameplates were added and the trend continues today.

Jeff, Mr. Wolfe’s son, carries on this tradition of growth and hands on ownership. His sister, Cindy also contributes to the business as well as a sense of “our family to your family “that can only come from a locally owned family business. David Gatchell, our President and Chief Operating Officer works hand in hand with Jeff and Cindy to assure our future growth and stability.

Although, as they invariably do, things have changed but the Wolfe Automotive Group’s core policy remains unchanged; “Everyday, in every way, nice people.
