COVID-19 Note to Our Customers
To our customers,March 24, 2020
Like so many of you, we have spent the last several days and weeks learning about the coronavirus (COVID-19) and how it is impacting our world. For Wolfe Automotive, that means understanding how it affects our employees, customers and communities, and then making the necessary adjustments to our work and operations.
We have one simple objective that guides us: keeping you and our employees safe. This has been at the center of our conversations every step of the way. With that in mind, we have made several moves in our business in response to the threat of the coronavirus.
Traditionally, you have become accustomed to a warm greeting and handshake when visiting our dealership, however, it is recommended by CDC that the tradition of handshaking be stopped at this time. We will be following this guidance. Jay Wolfe Acura employees will greet you with a smile and warm verbal welcome to our dealership. Social distancing is another strong recommendation from the CDC and other health authorities. This has been identified as an important part of preventing the spread of disease and we embrace this fully. With our comfortable lounge area for waiting customers, we have many seating areas and options for our customers. We encourage you to “spread out” while visiting Jay Wolfe Acura and using our lounge area.
The amenities at the customer lounge will be limited and served by a Concierge Staff member. Additionally, we will be wiping down seating surfaces, chair armrests, door handles, and other surfaces throughout the dealership with disinfectant wipes and cleaners.
We are closely following the Centers for Disease Control statements concerning the spread of the virus. We have shared specific instructions with our employees on the importance of washing their hands, personal hygiene with respect to coughing and sneezing and staying home if they feel sick or are returning from an area of the world identified as posing a coronavirus-related risk. Per CDC recommendations, we will ask employees who have traveled to such locations or have been exposed to others who have traveled to such locations to self-quarantine for 14 days.
A strict business travel policy for our employees is in place, and we have canceled attendance at previously scheduled business meetings with large gatherings, again to do what we can to help prevent the spread of the illness.
We will continue to closely monitor the situation and do all we can to protect you and our employees.
Thanks for your patronage,
Wolfe Automotive Group, LLC
