Oceans of Fun Kansas City’s favorite waterpark is located at the Worlds of Fun amusement park. At Oceans of Fun, the kid comes out in everyone. Antioch Park A quieter day this summer in Kansas City starts at Antioch Park. The park is in its 60th year of existence and is a great place to visit. Throw a line in the water for an opportunity to hook the big one – but don’t forget your fishing license first. Picnic at the park on the wide open green lawns and check out the Helen S. Cuddy Rose Garden for a tranquil break.
Kansas City Royals Ballgame On the east side of Kansas City off I-70, Kauffman Stadium hosts more than 80 Major League Baseball games for the hometown heroes, the Kansas City Royals. Grab a hot dog, popcorn, and mini donuts before heading to your seat to watch the first pitch. Win or lose, a Kansas City Royals game is an amazing experience on any summer day.
