What’s New for the 2019 Acura TLX
Last year, the Acura TLX got a brand new look. It has a sportier front end, more tech features, and better standard safety equipment than ever. It’s one of the most stylish, sophisticated and fun-to-drive sedans in the premium class. So it makes sense to keep the 2019 Acura TLX the same as last year, right?
Where’s the fun in that? Acura is progressive and always strives to improve. And that’s exactly what’s happened for the Acura TLX this year. It isn’t a complete redesign, but there are advancements that continue to keep the TLX at the front of the pack.
Changes for the 2019 Acura TLX
New 2.4-liter A-Spec Sport Appearance Package
What exactly is an A-Spec sport appearance package? It sets the Acura TLX apart, even among its own model. The A-Spec sport appearance package includes a matt-black grille with a dark chrome border. The Jewel Eye LED headlights have a darkened look. A-Spec 19-inch alloy wheels are painted Shark Gray. There are also smoked taillights, a black decklid spoiler, and an A-Spec exclusive rear bumper diffuser, as well as A-Spec badges and trim.
Inside, the new 2.4-liter A-Spec Acura TLX has aggressively-bolstered front seats with contrast stitching, red LED ambient lights, and black and aluminum interior trim. You can also choose A-Spec interior schemes like Full Red, featuring bold red leather.
New 19-inch wheels
Looking at a 2019 Acura TLX with a V6 engine? If you select the Technology or Advance models, it will come standard with a new 19-inch wheel. It’s one more way you can make your Acura TLX personal.
You won’t find Black Copper Pearl available for the 2019 model year. As well, Bellanova White Pearl has been replaced with Platinum White Pearl.
There’s so much good about the 2019 TLX. From LED headlights, power driver’s seat, heated front seats, and Apple CarPlay and Android Auto as standard features to available tech like 360-degree Surround View Camera, next-gen AcuraLink, and ELS Studio Audio systems, the Acura TLX will wow you.
