First 2017 Acura NSX at Jay Wolfe Acura!
Posted on September 30, 2016 It’s been 25 years since the first Acura NSX was unveiled. And in its time, it was a miracle of technology and a marvel on the track. From 1991 through 2005, the first generation of Acura NSX never wavered. It was always a lightning-fast monster, years ahead of its time. More than 10 years since its original production run ended, the Acura NSX is back! The 2017 NSX is even more impressive and incorporates some of the best technology the world has ever seen.
Exceptional Performance
At its heart, the 2017 NSX has a 3.5-liter V-6 engine, hand-built by one of six master craftsmen. It’s fitted with twin turbochargers and three electric motors, for a total of 573 horsepower. Mated to a race-ready 9-speed DCT transmission, the NSX is capable of 0-60 in under three seconds. Its innovative three-motor sport hybrid technology is shared by the Acura RLX, though not to the same degree.Remarkable Handling
Two of its electric motors provide responsive power for the front wheels, making the NSX one of the most agile supercars on the market. Double wishbone suspension made of lightweight yet rigid aluminum and magnetically-controlled struts make for a nimble and sturdy drive, whether on curving freeways or the racetrack. Impeccable Taste
The interior is bold and angular but amazingly ergonomic. Controls center around the drive for ease of use. Materials are of the highest quality including fine leather, touches of carbon fiber, and soft-touch plastics. You won’t find a supercar with the same attention to detail, inside or out. Phenomenal Technology
You’ll find much of Acura NSX’s technology makes its way into the rest of the Acura lineup. AcuraLink The Next Generation is standard equipment in the NSX, and can be found in the MDX and RLX. Sonar-based proximity sensors that keep you safe with some of the best safety technologies on the market are also found on the RDX and ILX. ELS Premium Audio fives crystal-clear sound, also available on many Acura models. And Acura Jewel-Eye LED headlamps provide stunning illumination at night, standard on all Acura models. Come see the technology Acura has in store for today and for the future with, highlighted with the all-new Acura NSX. It’s now on display at Jay Wolfe Acura in Kansas City.
